20 June 2019

The DCMS Committee will hold an evidence session on changes proposed by the BBC to its TV licence fee for those over 75.

The one-off session on Wednesday 17 July 2019 is part of the Committee’s remit to examine the work of the BBC, with its findings included in the MPs’ annual examination of the BBC’s annual report and accounts.

Evidence can be submitted via the BBC inquiry written evidence portal. The deadline for written evidence is Friday 12 July.

The DCMS Committee considered future funding arrangements of the TV licence fee for those over 75 in its last annual report on BBC.
