Defence Committee question new Defence Secretary

Purpose of the session

The Committee is holding a one-off evidence session with the new Defence Secretary to discuss current priorities and challenges for the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces. Topics that the session is expected to cover include Turkey and Northern Syria, the situation in the Gulf, defence spending, historic allegations, and recruitment and retention.
