Energy Minister questioned on planned Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon

The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee and the Welsh Affairs Committee will question the Rt Hon Claire Perry MP, Minister of State for Energy and Clean Growth, on the decision-making process for the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon.

Purpose of the session

This is the second of two sessions for the inquiry, with the Committees having held a session on Wednesday 9 May with witnesses including Rt Hon Charles Hendry, author of an independent review into the planned Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon, and from the RSPB, Tidal Lagoon Power, energy consultancy Aurora Energy Research Ltd, Natural Resources Wales and the Crown Estate.
