  • High Speed Rail (West Midlands – Crewe) Bill Select Committee

    Select Committee on the High Speed Rail Bill provides individuals and bodies directly and specially affected by the Bill with the opportunity to object to the Bill’s specific provisions and to seek its amendment

  • Home Affairs Committee

    The Home Affairs Committee examines the policy, administration and expenditure of the Home Office and its associated bodies

  • Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee

    The Petitions Committee considers public petitions presented to the House and e-petitions submitted through the House of Commons and Government e-petitions site

  • Privileges Committee

    The House of Commons Committee of Privileges is appointed to consider specific matters relating to privileges referred to it by the House

  • Procedure Committee (Commons)

    The Procedure Committee considers, and makes recommendations on the practices and procedures of the House of Commons

  • Public Accounts Committee

    The Public Accounts Committee scrutinises the value for money—the economy, efficiency and effectiveness—of public spending and holds the government and its civil servants to account for the delivery of public services.

  • Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee

    PACAC examines constitutional issues and the quality and standards of administration within the Civil Service. It also scrutinises the reports of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman

  • Welsh Affairs Committee

    The Welsh Affairs Committee examines matters within the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Wales (including relations with the National Assembly for Wales)

  • Women and Equalities Committee

    The Women and Equalities Committee is a new select committee appointed to examine the Government’s performance on equalities issues.

  • Work and Pensions Committee

    The Work and Pensions Committee examines the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department for Work and Pensions and its associated public bodies
