Harry Furniss's MPs in Session Book

MPs in Session by Harry Furniss is a compilation of satirical and humorous cartoons of members of parliament drawn in the late nineteenth century. Furniss worked as an illustrator for Punch magazine and was allowed access to the House of Commons press gallery to sketch the characters below. He drew sketches of all individuals, from backbench MPs to key political players such as William Gladstone and Charles Bradlaugh. This copy is taken from the House of Commons Library collection.
