Redmond to Asquith, third page

The third option for consideration is Redmond's worst outcome: that a short measure be introduced preserving the rights of the Parliament Act.  This would ultimately lead to the indefinite hold up of the bill and trouble in Ireland as a result.  Redmond also stresses to Asquith the present feeling in Ireland of strong support for the English cause in the war in Europe.
