Rachel Gadsden is an award-winning artist with an MA in Fine Art. She artistically directed the international commissions of Unlimited Global Alchemy and Starting Line for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
She represented the UK, creating the exhibition, This Breathing World, for the Qatar UK 2013 Year of Culture. Rachel created Patron Saints paintings, commissioned by the Speaker’s Art Fund, for Parliament. In 2014, she created a digital artwork with Abigail Norris for the Sochi Winter Paralympics, as part of the Paralympic torch-lighting ceremony at Stoke Mandeville. She was awarded the National Diversity Award 2013: Positive Role Model for Disability.
