Calendar
A number of silver desk calendars were made for the New Palace of Westminster, also designed by A.W.N Pugin. The design is in the gothic revival style for which Pugin had become known. These calendars may have been made for high status offices or the House of Commons Library and are still in use today. On the back of the calendar is engraved a cartouche “HCLâ€. They are also likely to have been made by John Hardman & Co. in Birmingham.
