Architectural model: Westminster Hall

This large wooden painted architectural model of Westminster Hall is to show the location of the King's Table in the year 1250. During the underpinning of the steps in Westminster Hall in 2006, a section of the King's Table was found by archaeologist and excavated. The medieval section of King's Table is an object in the collection. This model was used as part of an exhibition in Westminster Hall in 2008, where the actual section of the King's Table was put on display as part of a recreation of how the whole table would have looked.
