The Glorious Revolution

This factsheet provided a brief history of the Glorious Revolution. The term Glorious Revolution refers to the series of events in 1688‐89 which culminated in the exile of King James II and the accession to the throne of William and Mary. It has also been seen as a watershed in the development of the constitution and especially of the role of Parliament.
