House of Commons Chamber proceedings during the COVID-19 pandemic
Temporary arrangements are currently in place until 30 March 2021 to enable MPs to participate remotely.
In response to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, changes have been made to ensure that parliamentary business in the House of Commons Chamber and Westminster Hall can take place. These changes are compliant with public health guidance relating to the coronavirus pandemic.
All MPs, whether participating physically or virtually, should follow guidance on the courtesies and rules of the House, such as abiding by a formal dress code.
