26 May 2017

A phased re-opening of the Houses of Parliament will begin with pre-booked guided tours only on Saturday 27 May 2017. Audio tours have been cancelled.

As with other key sites across the country, we have continued to review our security in light of the tragic events in Manchester and, working closely with the police, have decided to take this first step to restoring public access to Parliament, which is fundamental to a thriving parliamentary democracy. We will continue to work with the police to extend this to other activities in the forthcoming days.

Guided tours on Saturday 27 May

Guided tours will run as planned but no tickets will be available on the day. If you have pre-booked guided tour tickets, please go to the Cromwell Green visitor entrance.

You should expect enhanced security measures upon arrival at Parliament and are advised to bring small bags only.

All audio tours have been cancelled and audio tour ticket holders will not be admitted.
