These shorter, fun and thought-provoking guided tours led by our Visitor Assistant guides are aimed at children aged 7 to 12 visiting with adults. All children go free.
What does the family guided tour cover?
Discover the Commons Chamber (home to the Speaker's Chair and the famous green benches) plus the Lords Chamber, medieval Westminster Hall and the heart of Parliament, Central Lobby.
Seasonal stories and optional activities for kids are added during the year. Please check the Visit Parliament News pages for details.
Tours last one hour and may occasionally subject to variation or cancellation due to the State Opening of Parliament and other parliamentary business.
Tours are available in English only to family groups with children.

Tours start at 10.40am, 1.30pm and 3pm.
Prices and booking
- Children (up to 15): Free, but will still require a ticket for admission
- Adults: £18.50
- Concessions (over 60s, students, UK Armed Forces): £16
ID may be required for students and UK Armed Forces concessions

Tickets can also be purchased in person in advance or on the day (subject to availability) from the Ticket Office located at the front of Portcullis House on Victoria Embankment (post code SW1A 2LW, marked 5 on the map ( PDF 537 KB)).
The Ticket Office is open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (longer on tour days), Saturday 8.45am to 4.45pm.
Because of the limited availability of the family guided tours, group rates are not available.
