Event Planner

When is what needed in the planning process? Our handy flow chart tells you what happens administratively and when in the lead up to your event from when the pre-payment has to be paid to when you must submit your menu choices.

Invitations

All attendees, including organisers and their entourage, entertainment, photographers, etc., must be is possession of an official invitation to the event. This will form part of the security procedure.

You may be asked to show proof of identity. Invitations should direct guests to arrive via Cromwell Green unless specifically told to use one of our other entrances.

Style and formatting is very much a decision for event organisers.

The Crowned Portcullis Badge

The Portcullis surmounted with a |Crown, the emblem of Parliament, can only be used on invitations for events sponsored by Members of Parliament and Peers.

Any APPG that is on the Register of APPGs must use the House's bespoke logo for APPGs if it wants to use the crowned portcullis badge on their invitations. Unregistered groups are not allowed to use the bespoke logo.
