Big Ben exhibition

Exhibition at Portcullis House from 21 September to 16 November 2009.

Exhibits from private and public collections, as well as those of the Palace of Westminster, have been drawn together for the first time to tell the story of the Elizabeth Tower, the Great Clock and bells, better known by the nickname Big Ben, which celebrate their 150th anniversary in 2009.

Opening Hours

Public access to the exhibition is by free guided tours offered on a first come first serve basis. Please enter Portcullis House, arriving at least 15 minutes before start of tour to allow time to clear security check. Tours start promptly and late admission is not allowed.

Tour times

No pre-booking necessary. Tours last 45 minutes.

From 21 September - 9 October, (Monday - Friday):

Tour 4 2.00 pm
Tour 5 3.15 pm

On Monday 12, 19 and 26 October, and 2, 9 and 16 November:
