| At the 2012 Autumn Statement, the Chancellor announced a further £310 million for the Regional Growth Fund (RGF), which will be extended into 2015-16. The RGF is now worth over £2.7 billion over the five years from 2011-12 to 2015-16. It is intended to promote the private sector in areas in England most at risk to public sector cuts. | |
