PUBLICATION OF REPORT: AMENDED PRESS NOTICE
The Science and Technology Committee will publish its Tenth Report of Session 2003-04, Scientific Publications: Free for all? (HC 399), at 0001 hours on Tuesday 20 July 2004.
Please note the publication time of 0001 hours on Tuesday 20 July 2004, not 1000 hours as stated on the original press notice. All other details on the press notice remain the same.
A press conference will be held in the Conference Centre Auditorium at the British Library, 96 Euston Road, London at 10am on Tuesday 20 July at which copies of the Report will be available.
Embargoed copies of the Report will be available to the press and to those who gave oral evidence to the inquiry from Reception, 7 Millbank, from 10am on Monday 19 July. Embargoed electronic copies will also be made available to those of the above who request them in advance.
Copies of the Report can also be obtained from TSO outlets and from the Parliamentary Bookshop, 12 Bridge Street, Parliament Square, London SW1A 2JX (020 7219 3890) by quoting the appropriate HC number. The text of the Report will also be available via the Committee's internet homepage.

Under the terms of Standing Order No. 152 the Committee is empowered to examine the "expenditure, policy and administration of the Office of Science and Technology and its associated public bodies". The Committee was appointed on 12 November 2001.
