The British film and television industries

On 25 January 2010 the Committee published its report into The British film and television industries - decline or opportunity? (First Report of Session 2009-10, HL Papers 37-I and 37-II ).

Digital switchover of television and radio

On 8 January 2010 the Committee announced that it would be undertaking an inquiry into digital switchover of television and radio in the United Kingdom.  The deadline for submitting written evidence is 1 February 2010.

Public service broadcasting report

On 8 April the Committee published its report on public service broadcasting (Second Report of Session 2008-09, HL Paper 61). On 4 June the Committee received the Government's response to the report.

Government Communications

On 26 January 2009 the Committee published its report into Government Communications (First Report of Session 2008-09, HL Paper 7). On 2 April the Committee received the Government's response to the report.

The ownership of the news

In June 2008, the Committee published its report on The ownership of the news (First Report of Session 2007-08, HL Paper 122). Both the Government and Ofcom responded. A debate on the report was held in the Lords Chamber in November.
