Parliamentary Private Secretaries

Parliamentary Private Secretaries (PPS) are appointed by a minister to be his or her assistant. He or she is selected from backbench MPs as the 'eyes and ears' of the minister in the House of Commons.

The House of Commons Information Office does not maintain a full list of Parliamentary Private Secretaries. However, the House of Commons Information Office may be able to provide information about individual appointments.
