POST publishes 20 to 30 POSTnotes (short briefing notes) each year, along with occasional longer reports. They focus on current science and technology issues and aim to anticipate policy implications for parliamentarians
POSTnotes and reports are available from the Research Briefings section of the parliamentary web site, along with briefings from the Libraries of both Houses. This website also contains a directory of POSTnotes and longer reports, searchable by title. To search the text of POST publications, use Parliamentary search (internal only) or Google "POSTnote +your search term".
From October 2012, POST has been piloting a new a regular series of one-page information sheets called POSTboxes. These are designed to be integrated into other publications, including Parliamentary research and briefing papers. A list of POSTboxes can be found on this site.
To receive POST's publications by email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, with 'join POST mailing list' as the subject.
Shortly after each General Election, POST produces a special briefing highlighting some of the main science-based issues that the new Parliament is likely to encounter.
