Health authorities target MMR vaccinations to children at risk from measles outbreak
The recent outbreak of measles in Wales has led to health authorities offering MMR vaccinations to those children who were not immunised in infancy. Public Health Wales has published statistics on the scale and spread of the outbreak on its website. Vaccination offers a safe way to protect children and the wider community from infectious disease that can be fatal or result in lifelong complications.
