POST’s 2014 annual reception celebrates the opening of Information Age, a new permanent gallery at the Science Museum that tells the story of how information and communication technologies have transformed our lives over the last 200 years.
This reception will give attendees the opportunity to hear from Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, and meet researchers involved in the collection, processing and interpretation of data. Guests will also be invited to meet the team behind the Information Age gallery and explore exhibits provided by the Science Museum, Cubic Transportation Systems and Elsevier, showcasing information and communication technologies past and present.
