3rd Westminster Workshop: The Public Accounts Committee

CPA UK over the last week hosted the 3rd Westminster Workshop on the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), 24-27 June.

This is the second year that the Workshop explored the PAC, an institution central to the effective undertaking of Parliament’s duty of financial scrutiny of the executive, and this year’s programme was designed to build on last year’s.

Attended by over 90 Chairs, Members and clerks of Commonwealth legislatures’ PACs and representatives of overseas Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), the programme consisted of a number of detailed and practical sessions designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their PACs.

Journalists and media professionals seeking more information can find a press release here. For general enquiries, please visit our dedicated Westminster Seminar and Westminster Workshop pages.
