Who we are

CPA UK is the professional network of parliamentarians in the UK Parliament who are interested in Commonwealth countries and the issues that affect Commonwealth citizens.

Governed by an Executive Committee of parliamentarians from all main parties, CPA UK encourages parliamentary diplomacy and parliamentary strengthening on behalf of the UK Parliament and the wider CPA. Find out how to Become a CPA UK member.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is made up of 20 parliamentarians from both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

Finance, Audit and Remuneration Sub-Committee

FAR is a sub-committee of the Executive Committee and is made up of the Chairman of the Executive Committee, the Honorary Treasurer and six other members.

Policy, Plans and Programmes Committee

The Chairman, Honorary Treasurer and the three Vice-Chairmen form the Policy, Planning and Programmes Committee.

Presidents and Vice-Presidents

The Presidents of CPA UK are the Lord Speaker and the Speaker of the House of Commons.
