On Monday 2 November, the House of Commons organised a digital debate on ‘Maternity discrimination’ ahead of a Westminster Hall debate on Tuesday 3 November 2015.
The digital debate was held in partnership with Maternity Action, and took place on Twitter on the hashtag #MothersWork.
The public shared their thoughts and experiences and the questions that they would like raised in the Westminster Hall debate. The comments were shared with MPs, including Stuart C. McDonald MP who led the Westminster Hall debate.
