As a result of an e-petition, the House of Commons organised a digital debate on foreign aid spending on Monday 13 June 2016 ahead of a Westminster Hall debate.
The digital debate took place on Twitter on the hashtag #UKAidDebate.
The public were invited to share their thoughts and experiences and the questions that they would like raised in the Westminster Hall debate. Steve Double MP, Member of the Petitions Committee, and Stephen Twigg MP, Chair of the International Development Committee, took part.
