Student debates with a difference. Young people in years 7-13 will gain a fantastic insight into how Parliament works as they run their own debate in the Palace of Westminster.
These lively debates encourage active student participation while following either House of Commons or House of Lords rules and conventions, all in the grand setting of a parliamentary committee room.
Please note students are required to research their debate topic and write and practise their speeches in advance of their visit.
Upon request your Student Parliament can be combined with a visit to a public gallery to watch a Commons or Lords debate, if available.
Please note the year group and 'house rules' for each date before applying.
To book please fill in the application form and send it to us by email.
Availability is limited and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
