What is the House of Commons Library?

The House of Commons Library provides impartial information and research to MPs and their staff.
The Library produces Briefing Papers on subjects of interest, which you can use to get detailed analysis of key policy issues and to separate fact from fiction. All Library Briefing Papers are freely available online.
