  • Live on air!

  • Power lunch

  • A visit to Number 10

  • The White Drawing Room

  • The Terracotta Room

  • Reception with Mr Speaker

  • Overall winner in the year 10 and 11 group

About the Press Gallery competition day

On 8 March 2011, 12 young people were invited to the Houses of Parliament as part of their prize for writing winning emails and blog entries for the Press Gallery's Write Now competition.

The winners were taken on a tour of Parliament, and got a behind the scenes glimpse of the parliamentary broadcasting studios as well as a tour of Number 10 Downing Street.

They were presented with their certificates at a reception in the Speaker's apartments by Mr Speaker, Rt Hon John Bercow MP.
