Schools can get involved in Parliament Week - 19 to 25 November - a week of activities exploring how and why the House of Commons and the House of Lords matter for everyone.
What is Parliament Week?
Parliament Week is a national initiative that aims to help people engage with parliamentary democracy here in the UK. It will run from 19 to 25 November 2012.
Parliament Week will highlight the work and history of the UK Parliament, how it is relevant to UK citizens and how you can get involved in the democratic process.
Events for young people
UK Youth Parliament debates at Westminster
Members of the UK Youth Parliament are holding a day of debates on 23 November in the House of Commons chamber. They will discuss issues chosen by young people from all over the country.
