My Vote Counts Workshop

Parliament's Education Outreach team can inspire and engage your students in their political literacy lessons by running workshops in schools around the county.


About the Workshop


This fun, interactive My Vote Counts workshop will be delivered by one of our Regional Outreach Officer. This workshop is generally 1 hour in length, but this can be flexible subject to your requirements. This workshop is available for pupils ages 7 – 18 and can be tailored for small or large groups.

  • Considerations for the future of voting in the UK


For ages 11 – 16

  • The process of registering and voting in UK Elections
  • Debate on the evolution of voting in the UK

  • The process of registering and voting in UK Elections
  • Comparing the strengths and weaknesses of voting systems
  • Debate on the evolution of voting in the UK
