Speaker's School Council Awards

About the Awards

Speaker's School Council Awards wants to hear about projects that made a difference in your school or community. Big or small, tell us how your school council's efforts have led to positive change. The scheme is open to every infant, primary and secondary school in the UK.

Prizes

A winning school council in each of four age categories receives an award:

  • Infant age (4 - 7)
  • Junior age (8 - 11)
  • Secondary age (12 - 16)
  • Young adults (17 - 19)

Every school council that enters receives a prestigious certificate and a web badge. Winning councils will be invited to Parliament to attend an awards ceremony in the Speaker's Apartments where you will be presented with a trophy by the Speaker of the House of Commons.
