About Parliament Week

 

Parliament Week is an annual festival that engages people from across the UK with Parliament, explores what it means to them and empowers them to get involved. There is something for everyone: whether you attend or organise an event. You can also take part in the online conversation using the hashtag #UKPW17. Parliament Week will be taking place from 13 - 19 November 2017.

 

How to Take Part

 

  • Create an event and register it

Register your event through the Parliament Week website

 

  • Take a trip to Parliament Square at Kidzania London

This year Parliament's Education Service have partnered with Kidzania London, the indoor city run by kids. For this year's Parliament Week Kidzania's town square will be transformed into Parliament Square. Find out more about Kidzania London and book their schools offer.

 

  • Enrol on a UK Parliament online course with FutureLearn

The Houses of Parliament have partnered with FutureLearn, the social learning platform to offer various courses on the UK Parliament. These courses are designed to help you understand the role of Parliament and how it is evolving.

Order a UK Parliament Week Kit

 

Parliament Week has plenty of ideas and resources to help with your event. How you take part is entirely up to you, there is no limit to what you can do. This year Parliament Week have created a kit specifically for partners. Your kit is free and designed to cater to all your UK Parliament Week needs as you go on to hold your event or activity. If you register after 30 April 2017, you will receive your free UK Parliament Week Kit within three weeks.
