NHS PARKING CHARGES

That this House commends the efforts of Macmillan Cancer Support in its campaign to abolish car parking fees for cancer patients; notes that 45 per cent of cancer sufferers are worried about fees and that the average patient pays £325 for parking over the course of their treatment; and calls on English hospitals to follow those in Scotland and Wales in removing or lowering parking charges for cancer sufferers.
