REGULATIONS ON SMALL BUSINESSES

That this House notes with concern the lack of information sharing that takes place between Government departments; believes Government departmentsand agencies should share more information to avoid administrative overload on small businesses; furtherbelieves that if a business has already provided Government with a certain piece of information they should not be asked to do so again; and calls on the Government to extend the Osmotherly Agreement so that, after completing a survey for a Government department, businesses with less than 20 employees get a three year break for completing further surveys in the near future.
