BRITISH PUBS

That this House welcomes the release of the charity single What can we do now (save the pub) by country singer and record producer Bob James alongside Tim Bushong and in association with British Pub Week; hopes that the single will prove a success, raising much-needed funds and awareness for Justice for Licensees' Save the Great British Pub Campaign to aid the many British pubs that are struggling to operate at any sort of profit; and recognises the place that the Great British pub has in British culture as a place for social gathering and the birthplace of many of this country's great musical careers.
