FUNDING FOR CADET FORCES

That this House notes the difficulties cadet forces across the United Kingdom are having regarding funding; and calls on the Government to reiterate its position on cadets in relation to its wider youth policy and to give reassurance that there is an intention to promote and develop the cadet movement and to protect it from resource reductions that might be implemented as part of a Strategic Defence Review.
