INTERNATIONAL ISLAND GAMES 2009 AND YNYS MôN

That this House welcomes the decision by the International Island Games Association's executive to recommend that Ynys Môn - Isle of Anglesey hosts the 2009 International Island Games; recognises the importance of the bi-annual event, which attracts over 3,000 competitors from 24 member island communities to sporting, social and economic regeneration; and wishes the 2005 host, the Shetland Islands, a successful games.
