That this House congratulates the Ethical Tea Partnership for its work in monitoring the living and working conditions on tea estates in tea-producing countries; notes that two-thirds of the tea sold in the UK comes from Ethical Tea Partnership member companies; welcomes the organisation's aim of ensuring that the tea bought and sold in the UK from the members of the partnership is produced in a socially responsible way; notes its objective of ensuring that 100 per cent. of the tea from its members complies with the relevant legal regulations and union agreements of each tea-producing country; and further congratulates the Ethical Tea Partnership and its member companies for their work in this area.

leave out from 'country' to end and add 'but notes that simply abiding by the laws of the countries in which they operate is the very minimum requirement any company should adhere to; and congratulates the Fairtrade Foundation for going further and setting international trading standards which offer sustainable production, community development and long term planning to workers in developing countries'.'
