    That this House congratulates all the competitors in the Vendee Globe race and especially the Isle of Wight-based Ellen MacArthur who has become the youngest competitor to finish the race, the fastest single-handed woman around the globe and only the second sailor to go around the world solo in under 100 days, which achievement demonstrates great bravery and skill and is a huge boost to British sport.
