That this House acknowledges the increasing usage of mobile phones, the increased demand for quality provision and popular concerns at possible health implications; and calls on the Government to ensure that local residents are involved in planning decisions concerning the siting of masts and that councils have the right to decide each application within appropriate planning guidance and to review the National Radiological Protection Board guidelines on this subject to reflect international practice.
