    That this House deeply regrets the death of Julius Nyerere, former President of Tanzania; recalls his enormous contribution to African independent movements and the attempt to gain social and economic justice for the people of Tanzania and other countries; and hopes that in his memory Africa will get a fairer deal from the world's most powerful nations.
