    That this House congratulates the Isle of Man for adopting the precautionary approach in respect of its decision to protect basking sharks under the Wildlife Act 1990 (of Tynwald); and urges the United Kingdom Government to do likewise by affording the basking shark endangered species status when it next considers the quinquennial review for amendment to Schedule 5 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
