NEWCASTLE UNITED FC FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS

That this House warmly welcomes the decision of Newcastle United FC who are continuing to fight against drugs in the North East by agreeing to stage a fund-raising match at St James Park; believes that the fund-raising match between Newcastle United and a combined Blyth Spartans and Gateshead side will result in a tremendous financial windfall for two drug fighting agencies in Blyth Valley, namely Blyth Valley Drugs Network and People and Drugs; congratulates club Chairman Sir John Hall, his wife Lady Hall, and Manager Kevin Keegan, for their support in the fight against drugs in the North East; and welcomes the club's continued commitment to communities throughout the North East.
