  • Sponsors:

That this House recognises the horrific consequences of the conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina and condemns the perpetration of massacres against civilians by all sides whether they be Serb, Croat or Muslim; is appalled by ongoing reports of Croatian Army atrocities against Muslim civilians, most recently highlighted by Brigadier Ramsey following a massacre of civilians in Stupni Do and the destruction of Mostar's historic Stari Most bridge; calls on Croat authorities to end, forthwith, attacks on civilians; and calls for all regular Croatian Army troops to withdraw from Bosnia-Herzegovina and simultaneously urges Her Majesty's Government to discuss with the EC and members of the Security Council the withdrawal of Croatia's special trading status and the implementation of economic and diplomatic sanctions against Croatia.
