That this House deplores the action of the Rugby Union in banning the sale of poppies by the Royal British Legion at the World Rugby Union Cup Final, especially in view of the enormous sacrifice by Australian, British and other Commonwealth servicemen in two World wars, Korea and other military actions; and requests the Rugby Union immediately to lift this offensive ban so that poppies may be sold to help the wounded ex-servicemen who still have to struggle with the burden of their sacrifice.
