'Record Your Place in History' was an internal marketing campaign by the Parliamentary Archives that took place between 20 November - 1 December 2006. It marked the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the House of Lords Record Office, and the formal change of name to the Parliamentary Archives with a new logo. Events included a seminar by Paul Hayter (Clerk of the Parliaments) and Jacqy Sharpe (Clerk of the Journals, House of Commons) chaired by Paul Seaward on their memories of Parliament; 'For the Record: Preserving the Archives of Parliament and Parliamentarians', an exhibition held in the Upper Waiting Hall jointly with Churchill Archives Centre and the History of Parliament Trust; tours of the Archive and Conservation tours. Activities included a photograph competition, quiz,and records management activities.
