European Union: interpretation and translation in criminal proceedings A question was asked by Baroness Coussins and answered by Lord McNally.
Designation of Features (Appeals) (England) Regulations 2012 Lord Taylor of Holbeach moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
Public Bodies (Abolition of Environment Protection Advisory Committees) Order 2012 Lord Taylor of Holbeach moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
Public Bodies (Abolition of Regional and Local Fisheries Advisory Committees) Order 2012 Lord Taylor of Holbeach moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
Public Bodies (Abolition of the Commission for Rural Communities) Order 2012 Lord Taylor of Holbeach moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.

11 Justice and Security Bill [HL] The bill was considered in Committee. Amendments were considered. The House resumed.
12 Civil Aviation Bill The bill was reported from the Grand Committee with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 36)
13 Arts and culture A question was asked by the Earl of Clancarty and, after debate, answered by Viscount Younger of Leckie.
14 Justice and Security Bill [HL] The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 24. The House resumed after clause 2 was agreed to.
