Rookery South (Resource Recovery Facility) Order 2011 Lord Geddes, on behalf of the Chairman of the Joint Committee, reported that the Committee had adjourned until Wednesday 12 December, that being the next date that the Committee can meet.

Public Service Pensions Bill A bill to make provision for public service pension schemes; and for connected purposes was brought from the Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 67)

10 Financial Restrictions (Iran) Order 2012 Lord Newby moved that the Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
11 Financial Services Bill The bill was read a third time. Amendments were agreed to. Then the bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments.
12 Autumn Statement Lord Sassoon answered questions on a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
13 Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Armed Forces) (Amendment) Order 2012 (SI 2012/2505) Lord Scott of Foscote moved that this House regrets that the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Armed Forces) (Amendment) Order 2012 (SI 2012/2505) fails to comply with the judgment given on 4 December 2008 in S and Marper v United Kingdom and further regrets that the failure of the Secretary of State to exercise the power under section 120(1) of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 to bring into force Chapter 1 of Part 1 of that Act perpetuates the likelihood of breaches of human rights under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
14  European Union: freshwater policy (EUC Report) Lord Carter of Coles moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on An Indispensable Resource: EU Freshwater Policy (33rd Report, Session 2010–12, HL Paper 296). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
The House adjourned at 7.45pm until Thursday 6 December at 11.00am .

 Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 16A. The Committee adjourned after clause 13 was agreed to.
