National Health Service: research and development A question was asked by Baroness Gardner of Parkes and answered by Earl Howe.
Magna Carta: 800th anniversary A question was asked by Lord Mitchell and answered by Lord McNally.
Democratic Republic of the Congo A question was asked by Lord McConnell of Glenscorrodale and answered by Baroness Warsi.
Health: hearing loss A question was asked by Baroness Wilkins and answered by Earl Howe.
Charging Orders (Orders for Sale: Financial Thresholds) Regulations 2012 Lord McNally moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
Financial Restrictions (Iran) Order 2012 Lord Newby moved that the Order laid before the House on 21 November be approved. The motion was agreed to.
Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 Amendment Regulations 2012 Lord Taylor of Holbeach moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 29 October be approved. The motion was agreed to.
Caravan Sites Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time and passed and sent to the Commons.
Statute Law (Repeals) Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time and passed and sent to the Commons.
10 Public Bodies (Abolition of the Railway Heritage Committee) Order 2013 Earl Attlee moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 29 October be approved. Then Lord Faulkner of Worcester moved as an amendment to the motion, at end to insert, "but that this House, whilst welcoming the Government’s acceptance that the heritage of Britain’s railways is sufficiently special to justify the continuation of the Railway Heritage Committee’s powers of designation and their transfer to the Trustees of the Science Museum Group, regrets that the opportunity was not taken to bring within scope those railway organisations wishing to be covered by the new designation arrangements." After debate, the amendment was withdrawn. Then the original motion was agreed to.
11 European Council Lord Strathclyde repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.
12  European Union: recent developments Baroness Warsi moved that this House takes note of recent developments in the European Union. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
13 European Union (Croatian Accession and Irish Protocol) Bill Baroness Warsi moved that the bill be now read a second time. The motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Grand Committee.
14 European Union (Approvals) Bill [HL] Baroness Warsi, on behalf of Lord McNally, moved that the bill be now read a second time. The motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Grand Committee.
15 Health: active lifestyles A question was asked by Baroness Heyhoe Flint and, after debate, answered by Earl Howe.
